Description

In the years immediately following World War II, the residents of a small Welsh village remain suspicious of newcomers. So when a caravan of gypsy travelers arrives just before Christmas, the villagers treat them with coldness—all except for one young village girl, whose heart leads her to act differently. Ignite your Christmas spirit as you witness the power of one child’s charity, and discover anew the power of the Savior’s boundless love for all mankind. Surely, His words “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” have rarely had more meaning.

5.5 x 8.5, 24 pages, Envelope not included

Sian Ann Bessey was born in Cambridge, England, and grew up on the island of Anglesey off the north coast of Wales. She left Wales to attend Brigham Young University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications. The author of several novels and children's books, Sian has also written articles for the New Era, Ensign, and Liahona magazines. Sian and her husband, Kent, are the parents of five children and the grandparents of three beautiful girls and two handsome boys. They currently live in Rexburg, Idaho, and although Sian has few opportunities to speak Welsh anymore, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch still rolls off her tongue. Traveling, reading, cooking, and being with her grandchildren are some of her favorite activities. She also loves hearing from her readers.
