Description

In a recent general conference address, Elder David A. Bednar described lessons we can learn about spiritual complacency and strength by observing how cheetahs hunt. The Parable of the Cheetahs and The Parable of the Crocodiles combines this allegory with President Boyd K. Packer's beloved parable about spiritual crocodiles, giving readers the chance to ponder these teachings and learn how to recognize the adversary's plan of attack in their own lives. Using the examples of these General Authorities' teaching methods, families and individuals can use the guided journal pages within the book to record and act on spiritual lessons drawn from their own lives. These two landmark addresses are presented in an exciting, unique "flip-book" format, with two different covers on either side of the book. With engaging graphic art and questions to ponder, Cheetahs and Crocodiles will help readers watch for life experiences and scripture stories that offer profound spiritual insights for their families.
