Doctrinal Commentary on the Book of Mormon
As a focus for gospel study, no book can begin to take the place of the Book of Mormon. This work focuses on the most significant aspect of that book: doctrine. The four, volume set provides a thorough commentary on the verses in the Book of Mormon. It reflects the authors' own considerable scholarship and research but also quotes frequently from other standard works and from modern prophets. Fascinating figures and compelling stories occupy the pages of these volumes: Nephi, Alma the Elder and Alma the Younger, Korihor, Mormon, Moroni, and the climactic visit of the Savior. This commentary teaches powerfully the doctrines contained in the keystone scripture, demonstrating its Christ, centered nature.
