Lloyd D. Newell holds a PhD from Brigham Young University, where he is a professor of Church History and Doctrine. The author of numerous books, he has worked as a television news anchor, speaker, and consultant. Since 1990, he has served as announcer and writer for the nationwide weekly Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square broadcast, Music and the Spoken Word. Lloyd and his wife, Karmel, are the parents of four children.

Robert L. Millet, former dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University, is a professor emeritus of ancient scripture. After receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees from BYU in psychology, he earned a PhD from Florida State University in religious studies. Brother Millet is a beloved speaker and the author of numerous books. He and his wife, Shauna, are the parents of six children.
